BMW ICOM WIFI V2015.04 License violation error
BWM ICOM WIFI diagnostic system users reported that he had license violation error when running V2015.4 BMW ICOM Rheingold ISTA-D 3.48.30 ISTA-P 3.55.2.001 SSD on Win 8 system.
Problem:
The BMW ICOM worked flawlessly with the newest 2015.04 software SSD, but they refuse to work suddenly. The Rheingold software displayed an error message:
“License violation
Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We’re just collecting some error info, and then we’ll restart for you.”

Restart the computer and then it display black screen.
He changed another Win 7 PC, both without any anti-virus software and with all the driver files complete, but still failed to work.
Possible reason:
TheRheingold ISTA-D 3.48.30 ISTA-P 3.55.2.001 SSD has been damaged.
Solution:
Please send back the SSD back to your dealer and re-install the new modified software.
